Priyanka Chopra was born on 18th July 1982, in Jamshedpur, India, Her father Capt. Dr. Ashok Chopra and Dr. Madhu Chopra. Her father was a surgeon in the Indian Army Medical Corps. Her younger brother, Siddhartha.
Priyanka Chopra was brought up from Uttar Pradesh ,Barriely . She was the favorite in the family and grew up in the affection and warmth showered on her by all parents, grand parents and all relatives
In the Miss World competition, the judges were so impressed by Priyanka Chopra's Due to her performance that they omitted the mistake that she made during the last round and she was adjudged winner of the Miss World 2000 title. She was asked which living woman she admires most, in the finals, and Priyanka replied "Mother Theresa", but at that time Mother Theresa had deceased. But that was the only mistake she made throughout the tough competition.
Priyanka’s first movie in tamil language, ‘Thamizhan’ (2002). She entered Bollywood with the film ‘The Hero: Love Story Of A Spy’ in 2003. But she won Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for her performance in ‘Andaaz’ which released in the same year. Priyanka shocked the film fraternity with her chilling portrayal of a vamp in ‘Aitraaz’ (2004) and got the Filmfare Best Villain Award.
Priyanka Chopra got her first Filmfare Best Actress Award for her film ‘Fashion’ (2008), where she played a model. She is known in the industry for her cool attitude and professionalism. And there is a lot to come in terms of performances from this stunning actress.
